This transformation results in repentance of previous patterns of rebellion against God, and is marked by belief in the life, ministry, atoning death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the extraordinary promise at the heart of the Christian faith.

Living the extraordinary Gospel of Jesus Christ calls for active involvement in a community of fellow believers. This involves becoming part of a healthy, Bible-centered local church. It also means attending worship services consistently, engaging wholeheartedly in church activities, and giving generously to support the church’s needs. Most importantly, it requires building deep, godly, loving, open, and sincere relationships with others in the church

Living the extraordinary gospel that saved us requires a deep commitment to growing in the image of our savior. Discipleship is becoming the person we would be if we were Christ. As Christians we are new creations, our old lives have been crucified with Christ and we are to live out our new lives in imitation of our lord who saved us. This change effects every part of our lives, including our families, our jobs and our relationship to the people around us.
