Living Stones
Sermon for May 21, 2023
1 Peter 2:1-11
Peter wants his hearers to understand that their actions and attitudes matter because they are the building blocks of a sacred community. Every Christian is a little temple housing the holy spirit, each of us have within us. We are his priests and we are his people. This is our identity, and our purpose. Our burden and our privilege. This is the only reality that can give our live lasting meaning. We have been saved and we are being transformed in order to build up Gods temple on earth.
