Acts 15:35-16:7

We do not know what God knows, and we are not told more than what we need to know to accomplish the mission. We set off in one direction only to find ourselves in a completely different place. This is because we are not in charge, God is.  It is God who sovereignly works through human weakness; he uses our failures and our tragedies shaping and redeeming our sin and foolishness for his own purposes. In the mysterious councils of his infinite wisdom he guides he guides the unfolding story of our lives, closing some doors that we though were open, opening some doors that we thought were locked and channeling our lives and work onto the path that brings him the most glory and us the most good.
